Current Processing Model
Naeem Insights currently prioritises browser-side processing for free tools wherever practical. This means many files are handled by JavaScript running on your device rather than intentionally uploaded to a Naeem Insights file server.
Images and PDFs
Image compression, image conversion, PDF merging, splitting, page extraction and similar utilities are designed to operate in the browser using client-side libraries. Your browser still has to download the software library used by the tool.
OCR
Image OCR uses a browser OCR engine. Language models or supporting files may be fetched from an external content-delivery source, while the selected image is intended to be processed locally in the browser.
Document Conversion
Some Word/PDF conversion features are browser-based compatibility tools and may not reproduce complex Microsoft Word or PDF layouts exactly. A future higher-fidelity self-hosted conversion service is planned, but it is not treated as active until the website gives a new processing notice.
Reference-Rate Tools
Currency and crypto converters request reference data from external rate services. They send the selected currency or asset code and ordinary web-request information, not your personal files.
Speed and Latency Test
The speed tool downloads a static Naeem Insights test file and makes requests to the website hosting path. It measures the route between your browser and the hosting/CDN edge rather than uploading personal documents.
What You Should Avoid Uploading
Do not use a free browser tool with highly sensitive, confidential, regulated or legally restricted material unless you have independently confirmed that the tool's processing model and your organisation's rules permit it.
Future Cloud Processing
If a tool later needs server-side or third-party cloud conversion, that tool will be labelled before processing begins and this page will be updated to explain what is transmitted and why.
